Xinyu Power Generating Co.,Ltd is an enterprise with a history of over 40 years producing 1.912 billion kw-hour per year. Fenyi Power Generating Co., Ltd is exerting itself to build demonstrating base of domestic large-scale cycling fluidized-bed boilers, where the first home-made generator sets of 200mw cycling fluidized-bed boilers will come on stream in May 2006. Jiangkou Power Generating Co., Ltd is equipped with 4 small-wheel generator sets of 8800 kw with a total installed capacity of 35300 kw-hour.
Located between two famous mountains-Lushan Mountain, Jianggang Mountain and two capital cities-Changsha, Nanchang forming an economic circle within 8-hour ride to Shanghai and Guangzhou with Beijing-Kowloon Railway passing by and Zhegan Railway joining the west to the east. This place is also the intersection of Ganyue, Hurei and to-be-constructed Wuji expressways. The advantage of Xinyu’s energy transportation is transformed to real productive forces, promoting the comprehensive competitiveness to further push forward the economic and social development of the city.

Ganxi Power Generating Co.,Ltd
Ganxi Power Generating Co.,Ltd is a state-owned power generating enterprise connecting West and South of provincial electric network with greatest capacity, heaviest load, longest line and highest power sales. There are in all 33 above-35kw substations with a capacity of 2,012,750 volt-ampere and an original value of fixed assets of RMB 1.0871 billion Yuan.

Power Generating Enterprise
There are 3 power generating enterprises including one of the main power plants of province’s transmission-line system, Xinyu Power Generating Co.,Ltd which is planning to build 2 extra plants of 600,000kw. Fenyi Power Generating Co.,Ltd is the demonstrating base of domestic large-scale cycling fluidized-bed boilers where the follow-up technological transformation of 2 domestic generator sets of cycling fluidized-bed boilers has started up. After capacity-enlarging transformation, the annual power output of Jingkou Power plant was increased from 0.14 billion kw-hour to 0.15 billion kw-hour.

Highly-Developed Transportation
This city enjoys highly-developed transportation with Zhegan Railway winding through the city and Beijing-Kowloon Railway passing by the city. Gan-Yue、Hu-Rui and to-be-constructed Wu-Ji expressways as well as 4 provincial highways join up here, which enables cement roads go to every villages, leading the province.
